The GMP Analytical laboratory provides analytical services to both GMP and non-GMP manufacturing by supporting development and validation of analytical test methods, evaluation and testing of cleaning samples, raw materials, process intermediates, final APIs, and final dosage forms, characterizing/qualifying Reference Standards, and performing Stability evaluations. All activities are performed in accordance with specifications, standard operating procedures, approved test methods and/or protocols, and regulatory requirements.

• Managing a startup microbiology lab

Senior Animal Technician

Durham, NC
Previous vivarium experience is preferred. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, the Senior Animal Technician will conduct routine animal facility-related tasks and support research staff as required. The candidate will work under minimal supervision in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, industry standards governing animal research (NIH/OLAW/AAALAC), company guidelines, departmental procedures, and all safety procedures according to company standards and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Primary responsibilities include: all core processes of animal care (husbandry), health monitoring, feeding, recording daily activities, providing general facility maintenance and cleanliness, and operation of various types of facility machinery including, but not limited to, biological safety cabinets, automatic watering equipment, etc.
